A warm welcome to Motel on Alpine's acclaimed restaurant, range.

range is a stylish restaurant set in an area of outstanding natural beauty within the Ovens Valley. Positioned mid-way along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, the restaurant is an ideal venue to unwind and enjoy fine dining in stunning surroundings.

In cooler months, customers can relax by our roaring fire place, ideal for cocktails, coffee and liquors. In the summer months, range also offers al fresco dining on its south facing terrace with views of Mount Buffalo, corn fields and passing cyclists.

range is a two chef hat restaurant attached to the stylish accommodation provider, Motel on Alpine. Motel owner Andrew Dale was part owner of range alongside previous Head Chef, Michael Ryan until December 2008 when Andrew and his wife, Heather, became the proud sole owners of range.

range has also received a rating of 14.5 out of 20, under new head chef Paul Mounsey, - and a glowing review in The Age Good Food Guides - both in 2011 and the recently published 2012 edition.  Click here to view the full article.
